Striving Under Attack
Good morning Scripture Reading: Ephesians 6:10-17 Worship song: We Have an Anchor Meditation: There’s one thing we can be sure of: as long as we reside in this world, we will be opposed by the enemy. We will encounter trials, persecution, and condemnation. But He that is with us is greater than those that are against us. He is our shield, stronghold, refuge, and so much more. Don't be alarmed if many of those who fight against you are members of the body of Christ. Do not rely on your own strength but the power of the Holy Spirit to discern that which is counterfeit. Remember, Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light. Don't be frightened when you are judged and condemned by your fellow men. Your Saviour, Jesus Christ encountered the same attack constantly by the religious cult of scribes and Pharisees.
