Still in Control
Good morning Scripture Reading: Romans 8:36-39 Worship song: Keep on the Firing Line Meditation: As we listen to the news, read the headlines, and see what is happening in our country, nations, and culture today, it would seem as if Satan is in full charge, but it is not so. God is still in control, and nothing present or things to come can separate us from his love. Now is the time for us as believers to hold the fort and keep on the firing line. We are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but rulers of darkness in high places. Therefore, we must put on the whole armor of God, which we need to claim daily to fight this spiritual battle. We need not fear; the victory is the Lord's, and we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. What we are witnessing is what the Lord warns us will happen before He returns.
