A Thirst for Righteousness

Good morning Scripture reading: Romans 6:11-23 Worship song: Grace Greater Than Our Sin   Meditation:      At the beginning of the chapter, the Apostle Paul refuted the misconception that salvation is by grace through faith. Based on his rebuttal, it is clear that the saints were disputing about sin, salvation, law, and grace. Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. Although the grace of God abounds with those who yield to righteousness, and his grace is greater than all our sins, we should not remain as servants to sin. Just as one person's disobedience made many people sinners, one person's obedience made many people righteous. When we were controlled by sin, we were not free to pursue righteousness; however, by becoming servants of God, we are now freed from sin's control.       Should the believers who wholeheartedly accepted the doctrine that was delivered to us continue to yield to ungodliness?
