Good morning Scripture reading: Psalms 22:1-18 Hymn: Nailed to The Cross   Meditation:      During his earthly ministry, Jesus underwent human suffering. He was intimately acquainted with physical limitations such as hunger, thirst, and pain. He suffered deep emotional anguish such as betrayal, rejection, hatred, loneliness, and sorrow. He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with much grief. He experienced hunger and thirst during his 40-day fast and on the cross. Jesus was rejected by his hometown, abandoned by his disciples during his arrest, and forsaken while enduring the punishment for our sins.       He experienced extreme physical torture including flogging until his skin was separated from the flesh, a crown of thorns pierced his head, and nails were driven through his hands and feet.
