This emotional state can cloud our judgment and hinder our engagement in daily activities. The biblical figure Jacob, for instance, faced significant fear regarding his brother, Esau. In a proactive move to appease his brother, Jacob selected valuable gifts to present to Esau, believing that this gesture would help soften his brother's heart and restore their relationship. Moreover, Jacob took precautionary measures by dividing his family and assets, hoping if Esau attacked one group, the other might survive.
