Dwell in Safety
Good morning Scripture reading: Psalm 27 Worship song: Safe Meditation: The vehicle I was in stopped to allow a mother and her ducklings to cross the road. I was fascinated by how protective the mother was of its young. We waited patiently and watched as the mother safely led its young ducklings to the other side of the road. It seems like she counted them and realized some were missing. She returned to the other side and then crossed again with the two unruly ones walking close behind her. This display of protection demonstrates how much the Lord shields us from the attack of the enemy. In times of trouble, we are hidden in the secret places of his pavilion, where he will cover us with his feathers safely under his wings. When we dwell in the secret place of God, He will protect us from the host that encamped around us. The Lord will keep us from the snare of the wicked and from the noisome pestilence.
