Overcoming Evil With Good
Good morning Scripture reading: Romans 12 Worship song: God, you're so good Meditation: Within each of us lies the tendency to do good and the potential for evil. However, the outcome depends on whether we choose to do evil or good. If you shun the appearance of evil, evil will not dwell in your presence, but if you meddle in or allow evil to reside within you, it will control and corrupt you. We can either allow evil forces to dominate our minds or we can conquer evil by choosing to do good. Evil is like an unchecked tumor, if you overlook the early warning signs and allow it to take root, it will relentlessly consume your morality, leading to a state of heartless cruelty and emotional coldness. Overcome evil by actively responding to injustice, hate, or negativity with kindness, love, and grace rather than retaliation.
