The Righteous and The Ungodly
Good morning Scripture reading: Psalms 1 Worship song: Holiness Meditation: The Psalmist identifies some fundamental differences between two distinctive ways of life: the way of the righteous and the way of the ungodly. Blessed people walk confidently, wrapped in God’s amazing gift of favor. A godly-minded person joyfully chooses righteousness, delights in God's presence, and refuses to associate with the morally corrupt and wicked. The righteous does not take advice or be influenced by those who do not follow God's law. The person who delights in God's law willingly chooses to know more about God, His commands and precepts, and is eager to learn and follow his teachings. When a righteous person meditates on the word of God, they are empowered spiritually, creating a deep and joyful reflection that nourishes and enriches the soul.
