Wait I Say, On The Lord
Good morning Scripture reading: James 5:7-11 Worship song: I Will Wait For You Meditation: Patience is a virtue cultivated over time through waiting for a promise to be fulfilled. However, not all individuals possess the gift of patience. Farmers understand patience, understanding firsthand that a harvest cannot be rushed. They rely mostly on timely seasonal rains and divine favor, as they patiently wait for their crops to reach maturity for harvest. After sowing the seed, the farmer must endure a period of quiet anticipation, a season of growth during which the crops develop to produce fruit. In the same manner, empowered by the Holy Spirit, believers in Christ, are called to wait patiently upon God's timing, exercising endurance much like a diligent farmer.
