Who Do You Run To?
Good morning Scripture: Psalm 18:1-6 Worship song: I Go to the Rock Meditation: When friends, loved ones, family members, and acquaintances turn their backs on you, whom do you turn to? When the pressures of life become overwhelming, where do you seek refuge? When you have no one to lean on, who do you turn to for support? During times of grief, struggle to overcome hurt, pain, and broken promises, in whom do you find solace? And when the tempest is raging, and the billows are tossing, where do you find shelter? You may feel stigmatized, condemned, rejected, and cast aside; however, be assured you are not alone. Jesus, who was sinless and came to redeem humanity from sin, was condemned and rejected even though He spent his time healing and ministering to the sick, the lame, and the spiritually blind. Despite His kindness and compassion, He was abused, rejected, and condemned. Whatever your situation, whatever storm is raging...
