Every Soul Matters
Good morning Scripture reading: 2 Peter 3:9 Worship song: Give Me A Heart Like Thine Meditation: Every soul is valuable in God's eyes; your worth does not diminish or change based on wealth, talent, or worldly success. Jesus teaches us that an individual's soul is more precious than all the material wealth and worldly power. In the book of Ezekiel, God affirms that every human soul belongs to Him and warns that the soul that sins shall be cut off. It is not God's desire for any person to suffer spiritual destruction, but rather for all individuals to repent and attain redemption. Jesus posed a very profound question that truly commands our attention: "What will it profit us if we gain the whole world and lose our soul? Or what shall we give in exchange for our soul?" We are precious because we were redeemed at a great cost paid by Christ our Redeemer. Therefore we must honour God with our bodies and souls which belong to Him...
