What Can Separate Us?
Good morning Scripture reading: Romans 8:35-39 Worship song: Nothing Can Separate Meditation: Statistics estimate that about 60% of conjoined twins who undergo separation surgery survive the operation. The successful separation requires highly coordinated care, and its feasibility depends entirely on how the twins are connected and which organs are shared. While medical science can successfully separate conjoined twins, no medical professionals can sever the spiritual connection between God and us through Christ. Our spiritual relationship with God remains permanently secure and is entirely untouchable by human intervention. Nevertheless, Isaiah 59:2 affirms that our iniquities create a spiritual barrier that separates us from God, and our sins hinder our communication with Him, thereby obstructing our prayers.
