Today's scripture provides insight into Hannah's experience in the waiting room. She was deeply distressed by her inability to conceive and the persistent taunting from Peninnah. Nonetheless, her sorrow and barrenness compelled her to seek divine intervention through prayer at the Shiloh Temple.
