Serving From An Empty Place
Good morning Scripture reading: 1 Kings 17:1-16 Worship song: Made A Way Meditation: The account of the widow of Zarephath, who sacrificially provided for Elijah despite having only one meal left, and Apostle Paul’s testimonies of serving amidst extreme hardship, teach us what it truly means to trust God's provision while serving from an empty place. By serving from a position of emptiness we shift away from self-reliance to dependence on God's limitless provision. The widow's demonstration of faith and obedience is a reminder that trusting God with our last resources allows His limitless grace to fill the void. Trusting God, especially in the weakest moments, opens the door for God to demonstrate His strength through one's limitations, transforming personal inadequacy into a testimony of God's power.
