If I Should Lose You
Good morning Scripture reading: Mark 8:34-38 Worship song: I'd Rather Have Jesus Meditation: In today's fast-paced world, we can become so engrossed in our daily activities that we forget about God. Many of us made a commitment to Jesus Christ, yet we often let the distractions of life overshadow our devotion. In the days of Noah, people were eating, partying, gallivanting, enjoying life, getting married, and living ungodly lives. They have no time to worship God. Likewise, also, as it was in the days of Lot, they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built, and they had no time to devote to God. What can we possibly achieve without Christ? If I were to lose my connection with Him, I would be left with nothing. Gaining the whole world means nothing if it leads to the loss of my soul. I would rather part with relationships, friends, and worldly possessions than sacrifice my relationship with Jesus. I...
