Good morning Scripture reading: Genesis 12-13 Hymn: God Will Take Care of You Meditation: Abram's story demonstrated his unwavering faith and obedience to God despite encountering trials and challenges. Abram, whose name was later changed to Abraham, was told to leave Haran and go to Canaan, the promised land. He did not question God's plan and purpose; instead, he obeyed and left his hometown, taking with him his family and nephew. Abram's journey was never without challenges. Being sent by God does not mean you will not encounter any difficulty, but God promises He will take care of you. In Canaan, an unexpected famine hit the land, causing Abraham to flee and sojourn in Egypt to escape the devastating impact of the widespread food shortage. Though Abraham's wealth began in Haran, by the time he left Egypt, he had become very wealthy in cattle, gold, and silver. Success does not come without hards...
