I Am Not Eloquent
Good morning Scripture reading: Exodus 4:1-15 Worship song: He'll Make a Way Meditation: When God called Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, he expressed to God his lack of eloquence and speech impairment. God assures Moses that he will put words in his mouth, but even after being assured, Moses still hesitated. God emphasizes his control and supreme power over humanity with the unwavering ability to intervene and resolve speech, vision, and hearing impairment. Like Moses, many of us often focus on our limitations instead of the God who specializes in turning impossibilities into realities. We have the tendency to seek validation, and affirmation from those around us, but we must remember that not everything we do needs justification from others.
