I Am Not Eloquent
Good morning
Scripture reading: Exodus 4:1-15
Worship song: He'll Make a Way
Meditation:
When God called Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, he expressed to God his lack of eloquence and speech impairment. God assures Moses that he will put words in his mouth, but even after being assured, Moses still hesitated. God emphasizes his control and supreme power over humanity with the unwavering ability to intervene and resolve speech, vision, and hearing impairment. Like Moses, many of us often focus on our limitations instead of the God who specializes in turning impossibilities into realities. We have the tendency to seek validation, and affirmation from those around us, but we must remember that not everything we do needs justification from others.
Moses, on his first mission, thought it was not accomplished because the remarks of the Israelites were unfavorable. Remember, if God declares something is possible, it is wise and necessary to trust in His ability and power to make it happen. Man's approval is not God's requirement, nor does it merit God's validation. There is an inner strength bestowed upon us, waiting to be unleashed through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
With God's empowering
presence, we can overcome challenges and are capable of doing all things
through Jesus Christ, who gives us strength. In everything we do, we should
seek God's guidance, wisdom, and affirmation. Touch base with God today, and he
will direct your path.
Let us pray:
Sovereign God of wisdom and supreme power over humanity, I
glorify and praise you wholeheartedly, for you are worthy of all honor.
Almighty God, at times we feel intimidated by others, but I pray, Lord God,
that we will find courage in your word and promises. We sometimes focus on our
flaws and incapabilities, but this morning we divert our focus to you, Lord,
trusting you to deliver us out of all situations. We surrender all our
impairments to you, O God, trusting you to deliver, guide, and direct our path.
Lord, I declare going forward we will seek your approval and validation in all
aspects of life, knowing that true worth and fulfillment come from only you. We
ask for your divine intervention, O God, as we seek daily to align our lives to
your will through the guidance of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Have a blessed day. 💖🙏
