Love Gone Wrong
Good morning Scripture reading: St. John 3:14-21 Worship song: Reckless Love Meditation: A person's life can be impacted by negative environmental influences resulting in choices that divert from God's divine principles. But no amount of self-justification can validate our sinful habits in God's eyes. There is an issue when we live outside of God's will, because any desire that seeks to satisfy only fleshly, selfish choices provokes God. God does not have an issue with us making choices, nor does he forbid us from loving persons of the same gender, for He has commanded us to love our neighbor as we love ourselves, which is the second greatest command. What God has an issue with is when we entangle ourselves with persons of the same gender and indulge in promiscuous relationships. God has an issue when we choose to compromise his command and oppose his will by displaying love in a manner that irritates him. Any type of...
