This act of faith is presented as a way to unlock substantial blessings, which He promises to safeguard from financial ruin or the devourer. God promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory when we seek first the Kingdom of God and all his righteousness, acknowledge him as the ultimate provider, honour him with our substance, and the first fruit of our increase. When we honour God first, our resources will not diminish; they will multiply. The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
