The Blessings of The Lord
Scripture reading: Malachi 3:6-12
Worship song: Jehovah Jireh My Provider
Meditation:
Believers are challenged to test God's loyalty by bringing their tithes into the temple storehouse. This act of faith is presented as a way to unlock substantial blessings, which He promises to safeguard from financial ruin or the devourer. God promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory when we seek first the Kingdom of God and all his righteousness, acknowledge him as the ultimate provider, honour him with our substance, and the first fruit of our increase. When we honour God first, our resources will not diminish; they will multiply. The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. In all your pursuits, remember the Lord your God, because He gives you the ability to create wealth. Give not sparingly unto the Lord, and He shall open unto you his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand, and thou shalt lend unto many, and thou shalt not borrow. The favour of the Lord is bestowed on those who obey his commands and abide by his law.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we thank you for your enduring faithfulness and for the blessings you pour out upon us when we bring our tithes to you. We give thanks to You, Almighty God for the undeserved favor and abundance bestowed upon us. Jehovah Jireh, our provider, we look to no other but you, Lord to supply all our needs according to your riches in glory. Father, we submit our finances to you and ask for wisdom to honour you with our resources. You know our needs, O God and You are faithful to deliver them. We will seek Your Kingdom first, recognizing that You are our source and provider of all things. Lord, we acknowledge your authority and the control you have over all aspects. Remove, O God, every barrier to our breakthrough. Open unto us, O God, your good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto our land in your season, and to bless all the work of our hand so that we will lend unto many, and not borrow. All our hope is in you, Lord, and we believe that our breakthrough will come in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. (Child of the King).
Wishing you abundant blessings.
