Good morning Scripture reading: Mark 10: 46-52 Praise song: Pass Me Not Meditation; Blind Bartimaeus stood by the road, begging to meet his basic needs, as he likely had limited alternatives. Nonetheless, he did not accept his blindness as a permanent limitation to his life. He must have heard about Jesus Christ, his love, mercy, and compassion towards others, as well as the numerous miracles he had performed. When he heard that Jesus Christ was passing by, he cried out desperately to Him to have mercy. Despite the crowd's attempt to silence him, he shouted even louder until Jesus heard his plea and addressed his need. Faithful Bartimaeus asked to regain his sight, and as soon as he received his vision from Jesus, he immediately began following Him as an expression of his gratitude.
