Rejection is Redirection
Good morning Scripture reading: Genesis 50:14-22 Worship song: Cry of The Broken Meditation: The life of Joseph gives a testament to the sovereignty and grace of God to those who live faithfully and righteously. Joseph was hated and rejected by his brothers. He was sold to the Ismaelite slave traders, who then sold him to Potiphar. Nonetheless, the favor of the Lord was upon Joseph. God elevated him to power as part of His divine plan to save his people from famine. Joseph became Pharaoh's advisor and second in command. Jesus, our high priest, was also despised and rejected by men, yet it did not alter or cancel the significance of his ultimate mission. The impact of human rejection can be heart-rending and deeply emotional, but it will not diminish our value in God's eyes.
