One can also consider dregs as the residues or sediments that remain after a process of separating the wanted from the unwanted. Sin is the unfiltered sediment in our lives. It has no value other than to separate us from our Heavenly Father and create a blockage detrimental to our spiritual growth. It will destroy our communication, prayer life, and relationship with Jesus Christ. Sin is the stubborn lees we fail to cleanse, the sediment that clings to the depths of our souls.
