Mandate For The Mission

 Scripture reading: Matthew 18:19-20 Worship song: Go Meditation: The mandate for mission is an authoritative command, a divine commission that is non-negotiable for believers to spread the gospel and make disciples. Those who are sent by God are commissioned to go forth and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things as commanded by God. In the book of Mark, chapter 16, Jesus commands the disciples to go into all the world and preach the gospel to everyone, and those who believe and are baptized shall be saved. We are commissioned to declare the glory of the Lord among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations, for great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised. Jonah was sent to proclaim the gospel to the people of Nineveh, a direct order to fulfill God's mission. One of our key missions is to spread God's love, point people to Him, and bring glory to Him.
