The Greatest Human Sacrifice
Good morning Scripture reading: Hebrews 9:19-28 Worship song: I Give You My Heart Meditation: What are you willing to sacrifice? We often hear that we should sacrificially give our best monetary offering. However, does providing our best offering guarantee us a place in God's kingdom? Is monetary sacrifice our sole and highest form of giving? We look forward to the opportunity to sow seeds and bless ministries; nonetheless, we must remember that, while giving, Jesus expects us to sow into the Kingdom of God by surrendering our lives to Him. The most valuable offering we can present to God is our life as a living sacrifice. It is in our best interest to prioritize offering our lives and surrendering all to follow Jesus Christ. While giving generously from what God has blessed us with is commendable, without a personal connection to God, our giving lacks true heart and purpose.
