The Scars That Never Fade
Good morning Scripture Reading: Isaiah 61:1-3 Worship Song: When His Wounded Hands... Meditation: Visible scars on our bodies serve as a powerful reminder of the wounds we have endured from painful experiences. They testify to our resilience and strength as survivors. They reflect not only the struggles we faced but also remind us that we have triumphed over them. Unlike many scars we bear, the scars of Jesus are not the result of accident or wrongdoing. The scars on His hands, feet, and side represent the nail scars of profound injustice he willingly endured for humanity. He endures the pain and agony of nails hammering through him for our sake. He was wounded and afflicted for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, and bore every stripe for spiritual, emotional, and physical healing.
