Our salvation, sanctification, and redemption are entirely the result of His grace and mercy, not our own righteousness. This realization should dictate how we treat everyone still struggling in the world. We were once debased and deprived by sin but are now saved, redeemed, and sanctified by His grace. If we profess to be holy and righteous without sin, the word reminds us that there is none righteous, no, not one, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, but those who received him are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Jesus Christ.
