But God

Good morning

Scripture reading: Titus 3:1-7

Worship song: Try A Little Kindness

Meditation:

We were once deeply immersed in evil and enslaved by our flesh, rejecting God's ways, but God, in His great love, intervened. Our salvation, sanctification, and redemption are entirely the result of His grace and mercy, not our own righteousness. This realization should dictate how we treat everyone still struggling in the world. We were once debased and deprived by sin but are now saved, redeemed, and sanctified by His grace.

If we profess to be holy and righteous without sin, the word reminds us that there is none righteous, no, not one, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, but those who received him are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Jesus Christ. Human goodness is fleeting and dependent; without divine grace, human hearts naturally incline toward sin, regardless of how righteous a person seems. Let us, therefore, speak evil of no man, but pray sincerely that God, through his abundant mercies, will transform their lives through the divine intervention of the Holy Spirit. Let us pray to transition from a life of disobedience to a life transformed by divine grace.

Let us pray:

Merciful, rescuing Savior, withdraw not from us your indwelling grace, for without you leading and guiding us, we would be lost. Almighty God, thou know our foolishness, and our sins are not hidden from thee. Father, I call upon you to x-ray our hearts and reveal the evil that is embedded within that cannot be detected with the naked eye. Cast out every secret sin and iniquity that sets our teeth on edge, Lord. Abba, Father, let not sin have dominion over us. Deliver us, O God, out of the mire, and let us not sink into the depths of our sins. Almighty God, we are marred by sin, but I pray that our righteousness, which is like filthy rags, will be justified freely by your grace and mercies through the redemption that is in Jesus Christ. I pray, O God, for those who are still bound, entangled in the web of sin, that you will meet them at their location, convict their heart and mind, break the enemy's influence over their lives, and set them free by the power of the blood of Jesus. Amen.

Wishing you a blessed day. 👏💞🙏
