Good morning Scripture reading: 1 Samuel 1:19-23 Worship song: Jesus I Need You Meditation: Heartbroken over her inability to have children, Hannah cried out to God in anguish, fervently praying for a male child and vowing to give him back to the Lord to serve Him all his days. The Lord graciously remembered Hannah’s affliction, and she kept her sacred vow by dedicating her son to His service. Maybe you are praying earnestly about an urgent matter and wonder whether God has overlooked you. Have faith and be encouraged, delay is not denial. Consider delay as a season of divine preparation, protection, and perfect timing. God is preparing you for something greater than you ask for. Solomon asked for wisdom and God added wealth.
