She later discovered his actions were a public display of grief over a written royal decree instigated by Haman to destroy all Jews. Too often, we jump to conclusions and hasten to judge, criticize, or condemn others' actions without awareness of their motives. After uncovering the truth, Queen Esther initiated a mandatory three-day fast for all the Jews, declaring that she would break the protocol and enter the King's chamber, fully prepared to accept the fatal consequences that might follow. Mordecai's act of public disgrace and Esther's bravery, led to transforming a hopeless, situation into a miraculous victory for the Jewish people. ...
