Respond With Urgency
Good morning
Scripture reading: Esther 4
Worship song: Hear my Cry, O Lord
Meditation:
Deeply disturbed by Mordecai sitting at the King's gate in mourning apparel, Queen Esther immediately sent him new clothes to replace his sackcloth, but he refused the garment. She later discovered his actions were a public display of grief over a written royal decree instigated by Haman to destroy all Jews. Too often, we jump to conclusions and hasten to judge, criticize, or condemn others' actions without awareness of their motives.
After uncovering the truth, Queen Esther initiated a mandatory three-day fast for all the Jews, declaring that she would break the protocol and enter the King's chamber, fully prepared to accept the fatal consequences that might follow. Mordecai's act of public disgrace and Esther's bravery, led to transforming a hopeless, situation into a miraculous victory for the Jewish people.
What initially looked like defeat was
a divine setup to fulfill God's plan. All things work together for good to them
that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose. Keep walking in
obedience, trusting God for what the enemy meant for evil, God will turn it
around for your good.
Let us pray:
Sovereign God, matchless in splendor and majesty, I worship
you, O God, for you are worthy to be praised. Almighty God, I confess that
oftentimes, I rely on my own understanding instead of seeking to understand
your divine ways and purpose. Grant me spiritual sight to see Your divine
purpose beyond what is visible. Father, help me to stop worrying about
reputation and start focusing on your will. Almighty God, turn my focus from my
limitations to your strategic purpose, knowing you have a divine plan for every
situation. Lord, may I readily acknowledge and accept that all things work for
the good of those who diligently seek You, O God. Lord, in all our ways may I
acknowledge your sovereignty and trust you to direct my path. Lord, I need your
divine help to let go of my need to figure everything out. I want to trust You
with all my heart and not lean on my own understanding, in Jesus name. Amen.
Wishing you joy, peace, and contentment. ✌👏🙏
God's divine will, will always be done no matter how ugly the situations are. All ill motive no matter how deep they run, God will always bring them to the surface and punish the offender. While God desire that we all come to repentance and receive forgiveness we will pay the price. Let God be glorified in all we do. 🙏
