It is common for individuals not operating at the same spiritual understanding to mock or deride what they cannot discern or comprehend. Their reaction often stems from an inability to perceive the spiritual power at work in your life, not a failing on your part. Jesus Christ was laughed to scorn, not because he failed, but because the people did not know His potential; hence, they lacked faith in Him. Jesus never failed to deliver on His promises, but the people did not know Him, nor did they take the time to observe and learn from Him before ridiculing Him. They did not know his capabilities or the power he possessed.
