According to biblical teachings, faith is the assurance of what we hope for and the conviction of what we do not see. It is trusting and having confidence in God, believing that He will fulfill His promises. In Hebrews 11, the Old Testament patriarch of faith received a good report by trusting God's promises. The moment we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, our faith journey begins. Faith is fundamental to the Christian life, for without faith it is impossible to please God. It is necessary for our spiritual journey that we develop a strong relationship with God by trusting His plans and believing in His promises.
