Walking By Faith
Good morning
Scripture reading: Hebrews 11
Praise song: Come This Far by Faith
Meditation:
Faith is the firm belief in something for which there may be no tangible proof. According to biblical teachings, faith is the assurance of what we hope for and the conviction of what we do not see. It is trusting and having confidence in God, believing that He will fulfill His promises. In Hebrews 11, the Old Testament patriarch of faith received a good report by trusting God's promises. The moment we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, our faith journey begins. Faith is fundamental to the Christian life, for without faith it is impossible to please God.
It is necessary for our
spiritual journey that we develop a strong relationship with God by trusting
His plans and believing in His promises. Faith is an unwavering assurance that
motivates resolute action, undeterred by hardship. Abraham believed God's
promise and it was counted to him as righteousness. Trust the Lord with all
your heart and rely not on your own understanding. In all your ways, in
everything you do, acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths. By actively
exercising faith, you will be able to overcome immense challenges and surmount
seemingly impossible obstacles. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Walk by faith, not by
sight.
Let us pray:
Merciful God, as we walk this Christian pathway, we ask that
you journey with us each day. Help us to recognize the importance of building a
strong bond with you. May our faith in you grow, empowering us to walk by faith
and not by sight. Our desire is to be faithful to you, Lord God, trusting you
wholeheartedly, relying not on our own understanding but on your faithfulness.
In all our ways we will acknowledge You to direct our path. We affirm, mighty
God, that through our faith, giants will fall, chains will be broken, dry bones
will live again, and mountains will be shattered. Like the elders of old, we
will put our mustard seed faith into action, trusting you to fulfill your
purpose in our lives. Father, as we step into the unknown with you as our guide,
we accept the path you have laid out for us with a grateful heart. We surrender
all to you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Trust God and His plans. Shalom. ✌💕🙏
