Why We Praise Him
Good morning Scripture reading: Psalms 147:1-5 Worship song: Stop And Let Me Tell Meditation: Isaiah reminds us that the Lord is the eternal Creator of everything, a God who never slumbers, never grows weary, and whose wisdom is beyond our full understanding. He is the ultimate source of power, giving renewed strength to those who are weak and weary. The Psalmist recognized the sovereign power of God and urges us to acknowledge that He is greatly to be praised with enthusiasm. Apostle Paul redefines praise not just as singing songs, but as our everyday actions. He urged us to offer our bodies as a "living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God," which he calls our true and proper worship. We praise God because His wisdom is unsearchable.
