It is viewed as a solemn covenant, a sacred agreement with enduring promises that should be honored by all who commit to it. Still, unfortunately, not all marriages withstand the challenges they encounter. Marriage can mean many different things to the world, but holy matrimony is a sacred covenant ordained by God, designed for family and love. A lasting marriage, as described, is centered on shared spiritual values and a mutual commitment to honoring God, where partners pray together, communicate wisely, and align their union with God's will.
