Jesus Christ To the Rescue
Good morning Scripture Reading: Romans 5 Worship Song: Rescue Meditation: The struggles of life can be overwhelming at times and leave behind a trail of bittersweet memories. Heartaches, broken pieces, shattered dreams, and ruined lives are the reasons Christ died on Calvary's cross. Jesus Christ came to rescue sinners from the bondage of our iniquities and the stronghold of our captors and to bring light to a dark world. He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. Jesus Christ came not to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved. He chose to die and endured chastisement to demonstrate his love for sinners. He came to seek and save the lost, to preach repentance to sinners, to serve, to fulfill the laws and the prophets, and to bring assurance to a hopeless world.
