Who Do I Run To?
Good morning Scripture: St. John 6:60-68 Worship song: I Go to the Rock Meditation: Who do you turn to when friends, loved ones, family, and those you are acquainted with turn their backs on you? Who do you run to when the pressures of life become unbearable? Who do you turn to when you have no one to lean on? Who do you turn to when you are struggling to overcome the hurt, the pain, and broken promises when you are grief-stricken? Who do you run to when the tempest is raging, and the billows are tossing high? You might be stigmatized, condemned, rejected, and cast aside, but rest assured you are not alone. Jesus, who knew no sin, who came to redeem mankind from sin, who spent his time healing and ministering to the sick, the lame, and the spiritually blind, was rejected, abused, and crucified for doing good.
