Jesus Christ To the Rescue

Good morning

Scripture Reading: Romans 5

Worship Song: Rescue

Meditation:

The struggles of life can be overwhelming at times and leave behind a trail of bittersweet memories. Heartaches, broken pieces, shattered dreams, and ruined lives are the reasons Christ died on Calvary's cross. Jesus Christ came to rescue sinners from the bondage of our iniquities and the stronghold of our captors and to bring light to a dark world. He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly.

Jesus Christ came not to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved. He chose to die and endured chastisement to demonstrate his love for sinners. He came to seek and save the lost, to preach repentance to sinners, to serve, to fulfill the laws and the prophets, and to bring assurance to a hopeless world. Jesus came to rescue us, so let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Jesus Christ has left His peace with us so we can enjoy the fullness of His love and promises.

Those who received Jesus Christ are waiting in anticipation for that perpetual time when sorrow, death, sickness, and problems will be no more. We await when joy, love, and peace will endure forever. Jesus Christ has come to your rescue; please don't turn Him away.

Let us pray:

Sovereign God, I will be forever grateful to you, mighty one, for the sacrificial offering of laying down your life for the remission of our sins. Lord, if I find myself wandering far from you, lead me to rest in your peaceful and loving embrace, sweet Lord. Lead me, O Lord, and rescue me from the perils of darkness, from the prisons of my sins; set me free from that which binds me, and keep me anchored on you, mighty God. Almighty God, revive my soul as I surrender daily to you. And Father, I beseech you to rescue the broken-hearted, heal the wounded, and set at liberty those who are trapped in the darkness of this sinful world. Father, allow your love to pierce through the hearts of those who are drifting amidst the tides of brokenness, seeking and searching but cannot find a way out. I pray, O God, that you will lead them to rest in your promises through Jesus Christ our Redeemer. Amen.

Find your peace in Jesus Christ. ✌💕🙏

  1. Rescue the perishing care for the dying. At one time we were all lost without hope, then to the Rescue came Jesus. We are who we are today because of such Rescue. No one who is loose should seek to be bound again. It is important to stay away from that which has one bound in the first place. It is sweet to declare. Free at last, free at last, thank God Almighty I am free at last. No more chains holding us. Walk good. Shalom.
