Meditation:

    In today's fast-paced world, we can become so engrossed in our daily activities that we forget about God. Many of us made a commitment to Jesus Christ, yet we often let the distractions of life overshadow our devotion. In the days of Noah, people were eating, partying, gallivanting, enjoying life, getting married, and living ungodly lives. They have no time to worship God. Likewise, also, as it was in the days of Lot, they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built, and they had no time to devote to God. What can we possibly achieve without Christ? If I were to lose my connection with Him, I would be left with nothing. 

    Gaining the whole world means nothing if it leads to the loss of my soul. I would rather part with relationships, friends, and worldly possessions than sacrifice my relationship with Jesus. I choose to be faithful to Jesus over pursuing fame, fortune, or material wealth. Building my life on the foundation of Jesus Christ is infinitely more rewarding than anything this earth can possibly offer. Let us rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for a covenant relationship with Jesus Christ brings great reward.

Let us pray:

    Dear Heavenly Father, how sweet to know that you have gone to prepare a place for those who have established a covenant relationship with you. Almighty God, the trials, tribulations, and challenges we encounter daily are not easy, but we trust you to deliver us out of them all. Our desire is to remain on the heaven-bound train where our souls are watered, and our minds focus on you. When our works have been tried with fire, may we stand unashamed, and when all is said and done, may You be pleased with us, mighty God. Father, keep our minds steadfast on you and help us not to stray from the path of righteousness. Lord, without your divine intervention and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, it is impossible to live according to your will, so we sincerely ask you to guide our footsteps and lead us by your power in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Good morning Scripture reading: Psalms 139 Worship song: Where Can I Go   Meditation:      Overwhelmed with emotion, the Psalmist reflects on God's incredible, infinite power and omnipresence, marveling that God is intimately acquainted with every detail of his life, even his most hidden thoughts and feelings. God's wisdom and knowledge are unattainable; none has the power to obtain them. While we can earn academic titles, and be blessed with the spirit of discernment, we can never earn the boundless wisdom and knowledge that belong only to God. The Psalmist acknowledged that God's power is beyond human understanding. He realizes he cannot hide from God because God is always watching.       As Psalm 139 states, there is nowhere to flee from God's presence. Good morning Scripture reading: Ezekiel 14:1-8 Worship song: At Your Feet   Meditation:      The Lord rescued the Israelites from Egypt and took them away from their lifestyle of bondage in slavery and their customary worship of idols. The Israelites encountered the love of God and were granted freedom through his divine power. Nonetheless, they regularly transgressed against the Lord and returned to idolatry, and for that, many of them did not reach the promised land. Like the Israelites, many of us, after encountering freedom, have returned to our former lifestyle, allowing our self-will and desires to cause us to be entangled again in the yoke of sin and transgressions.       Those who believe in Christ experience a spiritual rebirth, a transformation from their old lifestyle governed by sin to a new spiritual identity in Christ. Squatters Occupying the Land

Good morning Scripture reading: Numbers 34:1-13 Worship Song: Way Maker   Meditation:      God made a covenant with Abraham in which he promised he would multiply his seed and make of him a great nation. God promised to bless him and his generation and give them the land of Canaan. The land was already occupied by various inhabitants, but God had to evict them so that Abraham and his descendants could possess the land. Our thoughts and hearts are vulnerable to the controlling influence of Satan's forces, who act as spiritual squatters.       To remove these spiritual intruders, we must invite Jesus Christ to take possession of our inner lives. Satan and his cohorts will remain inhabitants until we actively invite Jesus Christ into our lives to forcibly evict these unwanted spiritual tenants.
