Divine Altar Exchange
Good morning
Scripture reading: Romans 12:1
Worship song: O Come To The Altar
Meditation:
The altar is a sacred place of divine encounter and spiritual exchange, where we trade human brokenness, sin, or sacrifice for God's presence, forgiveness, and blessing. It is a place of profound reverence, where hearts yield, and knees bow to the sovereign majesty of a Holy God. We meet the Lord at the altar, where we surrender, laying down all our struggles, worries, iniquities, problems, griefs, sorrows, and concerns before Almighty God so that we might receive His healing, peace, grace, and righteousness. It is a place where believers make intentional decisions to move away from habitual lifestyles, make life-altering covenants, and commit to serve God wholeheartedly, with a desire to receive God's divine purpose.
Consecrated
altars are where we offer ourselves as a living sacrifice, trade our self-will
and bad habits, allowing God to transform our identity. We exchange our old
ways for redemption and salvation, and deepen our relationship with God.
Although many altars exist in the world, the one built in righteousness is a
sacred space where we genuinely encounter God’s presence and offer our lives in
worship and thanksgiving. The altar gently invites us to welcome the Holy
Spirit, surrender our will, release our fears, and receive God's abundant blessings.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we humbly approach Your holy altar today,
recognizing it as a place of divine exchange. Prepare us emotionally,
spiritually, mentally, and physically for Your sacred visitation. We offer our
bodies as a living sacrifice, pleasing and acceptable in Your sight. In this
quiet moment, Lord, we come with heartfelt expectation, eager to encounter You
and experience Your divine presence. We thank You for the opportunity to
exchange our sorrows, heavy burdens, and infirmities for Your grace, peace,
joy, redemption, divine strength, and salvation. Take our brokenness and
replace it with Your wholeness. Align our plans, mighty God, with Your divine
purpose. Change the posture of our hearts, O God, and renew within us a right
spirit. May we experience Your anointing power as we choose to walk in Your
righteousness. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Wishing you abundant blessings. 👏🙌🙏
In Jesus name Amen
