Meditation:

    Current societal events provide significant cause for concern, as humanity continues to alter God's creation, driven by personal pride. The rapid transformations occurring in our world and among individuals are astonishing; however, they serve as a reminder that these events were foretold and must come to pass. Men forsake the natural use of women, consumed by their lust; men engaging in unnatural acts with men, working that which is considered unseemly; and women behaving likewise. Driven by greed, hatred, and deceit, many people have become so consumed by immorality and malice that they no longer realize their minds are entirely corrupted. 

    Through idol worship and relentless self-indulgence, they have drifted completely away from God's commandments. They have transformed into proud, spiteful boasters who hate God and invent new ways to do evil. They are completely unmerciful, disobedient to their parents, faithless to their promises, and entirely devoid of natural human affection. Many false prophets are deceiving vulnerable people, while wars, famines, diseases, and natural disasters are happening worldwide. Families are facing deep divisions as children and parents turn against each other. The scheme of the enemy to destroy families is increasing rapidly, and many are running to and fro, seeking happiness and contentment. 

    When you see these things unfolding, look up and lift your heads, for your redemption draweth near. Watch, therefore, and pray constantly that you may be deemed worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass and stand before the Son of man.

 

Let's pray:

    Righteous Judge, Sovereign of heaven and earth, I am grateful that Your Word has revealed what is to be expected in the latter days. Almighty God, we have observed the signs of the times and bear witness to what is unfolding in society today. We acknowledge these things as indications of what must occur before the second coming of the Lord. Almighty God, we pray earnestly for a mighty move of the Holy Spirit upon those whose minds are wavering, that You will touch their hearts, renew their minds, bring them to their knees, and draw them close to You. Lord, we look to You with great expectation, trusting that You will keep us anchored in Your word and Your truth. We ask You, Lord, to extend mercy to the weak, the vulnerable, and those deceived by the enemy's plan. Remove the veil from their eyes, pierce their hearts, and allow the Holy Spirit to convict and transform their minds. This we ask, through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Good morning   Scripture reading: 1 Peter 1:13-21 Worship song: Make Me Over Again   Meditation:      It appears that individuals are experiencing difficulty in accepting their physical appearance. The highest priority seems to be placed on their physical looks, leading them to invest heavily in their appearance and pursue radical changes to attain their ideal body. Many deplete worldly resources striving to reconstruct their outer appearance; however, true beauty is discovered when we permit the Creator to reshape our inner soul. There is nothing inherently wrong with enhancing outward appearance, as caring for one's physique constitutes self-love.       Nonetheless, when individuals go to extremes to alter and modify what God has created to satisfy their ego, it reflects negative self-image and lack of appreciation. Good morning Scripture: St. Luke 10:25-37 Worship song: Someone To Care   Meditation:      Demonstrating mercy requires taking practical, compassionate action to assist those in need, regardless of their background or identity. During the time of Jesus, Jews and Samaritans harbored deep mutual hostility. Nevertheless, the Samaritan did not allow cultural, racial, or religious differences to impede him from providing aid. Among us, there are many priests and Levites, but also some good Samaritans.       We all encounter challenges that may cause us to feel disheartened at times, and it is often tempting to look away when we see someone in distress.
