Still in Control
Good morning
Scripture Reading: Romans 8:36-39
Worship song: Keep on the Firing Line
Meditation:
As we listen to the news, read the headlines, and see what is happening in our country, nations, and culture today, it would seem as if Satan is in full charge, but it is not so. God is still in control, and nothing present or things to come can separate us from his love. Now is the time for us as believers to hold the fort and keep on the firing line. We are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but rulers of darkness in high places. Therefore, we must put on the whole armor of God, which we need to claim daily to fight this spiritual battle. We need not fear; the victory is the Lord's, and we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. What we are witnessing is what the Lord warns us will happen before He returns. Signs of the time are everywhere.
There is a physical battle happening that we have never witnessed or heard of
before. Parents are killing children, and vice versa; suicide and homicide
rates have increased rapidly; the love of many has waxed cold; and people are
confused about their identity, wars, and rumors of war, disease, and disasters
in diverse places. All these are the fulfillment of prophecies. Jehovah God is
getting ready to pull the curtains. O wandering sheep, if you are lagging,
drifting down the broad road, you better get ready and not allow sin to cause
you to be left behind. It is not worth your salvation. Sinner man now is the
time to give your heart to the Lord.
Let us pray:
Sovereign God, we hail you as King Emanuel. Lord, we give
you thanks for your spoken word, the fulfillment of prophecies, and the
expectation of what is to come. Father, the time is fast approaching when you
will gather your people, those who have served faithfully and those who have
surrendered their lives to you. Almighty God, I give you thanks for your grace
and mercies, your patience, compassion, and unconditional love towards
humanity. Lord, may we remain steadfast and resilient on the spiritual battlefield
knowing that we are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ. Lord, we build
our confidence on your spoken words and are reminded that those who dwell in
your secret place, under your shadow, will be delivered from the snare of the
fowler and the noisome pestilence. We are grateful to you, O God, for your
comprehensive blood coverage through Jesus Christ, our Saviour. Amen. (Child of
the King)
Peace and love.✌💕
A fierce fire fight is on. If any is on the sideline watching, they will soon find themselves engaged. None is exempt. It is time to load up with spiritual armoury.
ReplyDeleteThe call is already called to prepare for the fight in Ephesians 6.11.
No surprise, no ambush, vigilance is the key. Stay alert. God got your back. Look ahead. Shalom.
