Does He Love Me

Good morning

Scripture: Romans 5:6-11

Worship song: You still love me

Meditation:

The hardest thing you might face when you make mistakes or bad choices is rejection. People may reject, avoid, or even turn their backs on you because of your constant display of imperfection, mistakes, and bad choices. You may feel dispirited because you are treated with disdain by persons who consider themselves righteous and holy. Feeling rejected and cast down by a brother or sister may cause you to ask, Can God still love me? Yes, He loves you. The truth is that God still loves us regardless of what we have done. God knows every mistake and bad choice we would make even before we were conceived in our mother's womb, yet He still loves us. He still loves us no matter how many sins we have committed. The fact is, He knows every sin we commit, and that is why He sent Jesus Christ to die for us, so we can be free from the shackles of sin. God hates sin but loves the sinner. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. The Lord GOD has no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his evil ways. Though we falter and make mistakes, God's arms are open wide to receive us as soon as we repent of our evil deeds.

Let us pray:

Sovereign God, your grace and mercies have brought us through. We are living this moment because of you, O God, and so, Lord, I thank you for loving us despite our flaws, our mistakes, and our self-willpower. Father, we thank you for you loved us so much that you sacrificed your only son to die for the remission of our sins. Almighty God, you came not for the righteous, but for the sake of sinners, the crippled, and the lame, and for this, we are grateful. Merciful Father, sometimes we make choices that leave us with regrets and a feeling of unworthiness. Lord, we sometimes make bad decisions that leave us facing a torrent of guilt. Father, we repent of our iniquities, our wicked deeds, and wantonness. Father, whatever is keeping us hostage, keeping us chained to sin, and preventing us from committing all to you, we seek your divine intervention for spiritual and physical healing of our mind, body, and soul. Break, O God, the chains that held us captive, the chains that bind us to sin, so we can surrender to you and connect to the tree of life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Have a peaceful day. Keep safe. 💕🙏

  1. The unconditional love of God takes to the cliff of our circumstances or the pit of our hopelessness. No circumstances too shameful or obscure that He cannot address. If one practice sin, fall in sin, once sin is mentioned He is ready to rub and scrub one clean for the kingdom. He loves us unconditionally. Once we possess that love through our continued relationship with Him, one will also show to others what they received but one must grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and maintain that level of maturity. Oh love of God so rich and pure, so measureless and strong.
Let us love not only in words but actions.
