For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

Worship: Jesus, He Rescued Me



Let us pray:

   Father, O Holy Father, broken with heart heavy laden, I come before you, confessing that we have sinned against you blatantly, mighty God. Lord, we have altered and destroyed what you have labored to create. Father, we have killed the innocent children, the unborn, the young, and the vulnerable. We are so consumed by hatred, greed, and pride that we have become murderers; the blood of many has paved the ground. We have disfigured our bodies to appease our selfish desires, thinking we are enhancing our appearance. We have circumcised our bodies to satisfy our erotic desires, changing our gender to please ourselves. Almighty God, we have altered your word to suit our lifestyle, ignoring your commands and refusing to live by your precepts. 

   Father, we have rejected your only son, who died to redeem us, turned our backs on you, and chosen instead to worship and adore Baal gods. We have erected ungodly altars, worshiping the created rather than you, the Creator. Lord, we idolize material things instead of adoring you. We have brought our merchandise into your temple, selling that which is forbidden, using your name to exploit and gain riches instead of preaching repentance to the lost. We have sought after vanity instead of seeking holiness and righteousness. Lord God, we have replaced love with hatred, our heart has become callous and cold. Our words are like venom, poisoning and destroying the character of our brothers and sisters. 

   Father, Heavenly Father, we repent and confess that we have drifted away from you, that we allow our minds and hearts to be occupied by worldly pleasures. Jesus, have mercy on us. Do not consume us in your wrath, O Lord. I am crying out to you for mercy. I confess and ask, O God, that you forgive us of our immoralities and iniquities; forgive us for trespassing against you, Lord. Jesus, though our sins are many, I pray for cleansing and purification. Reinstate us, mighty God, and redeem us back to you. Jesus, please plead our cause this morning, remove the shades from our vision, mend our broken vessels, O God, renew our mindset, restore our souls, and make us whole through Jesus Christ our Saviour. Amen.

It is like the driving force behind our actions. It can be referred to as a person's character or the place within a person where feelings or emotions are generated. The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Jeremiah, the prophet, says, who can know it? (Jeremiah 17:9). Only God can. Good morning Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. (Jeremiah 17:7). Hymn: My Hope is Built on Nothing Less   Testimony:      When God has you covered, when his hands of mercy and grace are extended, and when your faith is stronger than your situation, you can rejoice and glorify the King of kings. My faith and trust in God are further heightened, and my hope has increased after hearing a victory testimony from a relative who doctors thought had no chance of survival after his diagnosis. I can truly say my God is good, O, and he is still working miracles. A recent medical examination determined that there was no trace of cancer in his body. Through prayer, praise, faith, trusting God, a strict diet plan, follow-up visits to the physician, and nurture and care by his loving wife, who stood by him, pampering, comforting, and nursing him, he is now rejoicing and giving God thanks.
