During Difficult Moments

Good morning

Scripture reading: Daniel 3:23-25

Worship song: Through The Fire

Meditation:

There will be seasons of pain, brokenness, heartache, and struggles. There will be times when our faith is tested and our hope is shattered. There will be times when we will encounter great tribulation. We will be despised by our fellow men, afflicted, rejected, condemned, and humiliated, but think it not strange concerning the fiery trials that will try you. The Hebrew boys' faith was tested and tried, but they remained resilient, fervent, and steadfast, trusting God and exercising faith while their oppressors maliciously schemed and plotted against them.

Don't think it strange when, as believers, these things happen; don't be alarmed or panic, but rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for when the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, you will be numbered among the faithful. Be cognizant of the fact that there is no trial or struggle that you will endure alone. Jesus says when we pass through the waters, He will be with us, and through the rivers, we shall not drown. When we walk through the fire, we shall not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon us. The Lord was in the fire with the Hebrew boys, protecting and keeping them safe. The fire lost its power when Jesus walked in.

Let us pray:

Jehovah God, mighty warrior, great in battle, I worship and adore you as my King. Father, when we struggle to overcome trials and temptations, when the storms are raging and the billows roar, when there is no hope in sight, lead us, O God, through the fire and the valley. Almighty God, when oppressors rise against us, when the enemy is plotting to destroy us and defeat our purpose, stand by us, Lord. Almighty God, many are the fiery darts that are launched at us, but God, we hold steadfast and fervent, looking to you, O God, the author and finisher of our faith. Father, though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil, for you are with us. Almighty God, no foreign god will take your place because our hope is found in you, Jesus. Father, dismantle every altar erected to your dishonor, and help us build an altar that will glorify you and only you in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.

Keep safe. Shalom. ✌💖🙏
