Tell It Wherever You Go

Good morning

Scripture reading: 1 Timothy 1:1-12

Worship song: Tell Somebody

Meditation:

Paul, an apostle and servant of Jesus, dedicated time to serving faithfully as a minister of the gospel. He often wrote letters to Timothy, encouraging him to keep the faith. He was grateful for the joy, peace, and mercies that he received from Jesus Christ. Though he went through many afflictions, he pressed on; he never lost his faith. He never allowed his circumstances to hinder him from serving God. He was grateful that God did not give him the spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind. He was proud to say that he was not called because of the work he did, but through the grace of God. Paul is not ashamed of what he went through because he knew the God whom he served. He served a God who never fails, a God who will never leave nor forsake him. In other words, God had his back. Paul was never afraid to die for Christ. When he was persecuted and hunted like sheep for the slaughter, he did not quit serving, nor was he afraid of his oppressors. He knew whom he believed in and would rather die than give up ministering and preaching the gospel to the lost.     My encouragement is that no matter what we are going through, remember that we serve a God who never fails. A God who is in control and can protect us on the battlefield as we spread the good news of the gospel. The battle may be hot, and the conflict may become intense, but hold to God's unchanging hands and remain steadfast and focused on your mission.

Let us pray:

Sovereign God, you are worthy to be praised. We lift your name on high and sing praises to your name, O Lord. Heavenly Father, we bow before your throne this morning and pray for fresh anointing, grace, and mercy. Father, I pray your Holy Spirit will continue to guide us as we seek souls for your Kingdom. Almighty God, we desire to serve you and spread the good news to those we meet, and so, Lord, we humbly ask you to lead us to where the harvest is ripe and in abundance, where the souls are ready and waiting to accept the word of God. Almighty God, lead us to the vulnerable and the broken in spirit, and as we minister and spread the gospel, may we do so without fear. Give us, O God, wisdom that we spread the gospel; it will confound the hearts of the wanderers and weary. Lord, may your soothing words bring comfort and healing to their hearts and minds through the leading of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ our Saviour and King. Amen. Glory to God.

Shalom. 💓🙏

  1. Like Paul. We are all called to serve. There are different capacities in which to do so.
When Jesus commissioned His disciples to go into all the world preaching and teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you. This is called the great commission which is ours to execute also. The circumstances may not be favorable under which we have to do so but with the power of the Holy Spirit it must be done.
Let us do God's work in whatever way we can.
    Let God be glorified.
    Blessings.
