Whom Shall I Fear

Season greetings

Scripture reading:1 Samuel 19

Worship song: God Favoured Me

Meditation:

When David fought against the Philistine giant and defeated him, the Israelites rejoiced, favored him, and showed their appreciation by singing and rejoicing. This angered Saul, and therefore he hated David. When Saul realized that he was about to be dethroned and that his successor was David, he tried desperately to get rid of him. Saul pursued David for several years to eliminate him, but everywhere David went, the Lord provided protection. David lived as a fugitive, trying to keep safe as he fled Saul's murderous pursuit. Saul sent his lieutenants in search of David, but David eluded them and escaped for his life.

By reading the scriptures we will get a better understanding of how God protects those who depend on him for protection. Many will rise up against you, but do not be dismayed, for the Lord is your shield and protector. The same God that protected David can keep you from harm and danger. Many today will seek to destroy you, but fear not, for the Lord God is with you. He will send his angel to encamp around you and protect you from evildoers. Worship and praise God, giving thanks always while he puts your enemies to flight. You will feel like a fugitive when the enemy is pursuing you, but do not be discouraged; the Lord is with you.

Let us pray:

Sovereign God, my protector and keeper, I give thee thanks, O God, for dispatching your angels to encamp around your people. Abba Father, I pray for deliverance and protection from the foes that sought to destroy us. Father, thank you for sending a strong illusion to confound the language of the enemy and for providing an escape route so we can flee from those who seek to destroy us. Father, many are those that rise up against us, but I believe you will deliver us from the snare of the fowlers and the noisome pestilence. Almighty God, we stand on your word this morning and declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper and that every tongue that rises up against us will be condemned in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Have a wonderful day. Shalom. 💕✌🙏

  1. What a blessing it is to know that we are protected by the Lord. The eyes of the Lord are in every place beholding the good and the evil. We can confidently carry out our duties knowing the Lord watches over us and what He allows He allows for a reason not known to us many times.
We should never be afraid of the arrow that Flieth by day nor the pestilence by night for He promise to protect us. Let not fear hinders faith. Shalom.
