He Made a Way for Me

Good morning

I will sing of the mercies of the LORD forever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. Psalms 89:1

Worship song: What a God

Testimony:

As I listen to my friend relating her struggles, I notice her enthusiasm and how she rejoices about the goodness of God. If you hear her story, you will marvel. How can someone who has been through so much still be able to give thanks, honor, worship, praise, and trust God? For 18 years, she has been battered by an illness that requires treatment three times a week, but her faith in God never wavers. Her demands are many, including financial deficit due to her inability to work because of her condition, but she continues to rejoice because God has not failed her. Her bills are paid on time, and her barns never run dry. As she relates her story, I realize her faithfulness to God and that God has been faithful to her throughout her years of struggles. The word of God in Matthew 6 says, God feeds the fowls of the air and will do much more for us. God requires that we worry not about what we shall eat or drink or how we will be clothed because he knows we need these things, but instead, we should seek him and his righteousness first and foremost, and he will supply our needs. My sister in Christ lives daily, relying on and trusting God to supply her daily needs. Listening to her testimony, the many challenges she has faced, her faithfulness, and her dependence on God to supply all her needs strengthened my faith and built my hope. Everyone has a story to tell, but not all will impact you spiritually and give you hope in a world that is slowly drifting away from God, his Word, and his teachings.

 Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, I give you thanks for your keeping care and tender mercies towards us who trust, believe, and depend on you. Faithful Father, you have not failed to take care of the needs of your people, and for that, I am grateful, Lord. Almighty God, many are our afflictions, our needs, our demands and struggles, our tests and trials, but you promise to deliver us out of them all and supply all our needs, and for that, we are grateful, Lord. Almighty God, there is nothing too hard for you to accomplish, nothing good that you will withhold from those who trust you, so we come boldly to the throne of grace and surrender all to you at the altar, Lord. We exchange our weaknesses for your strength, our fear for faith, and our hopelessness for hope, which is built on Jesus Christ, the solid rock. Father, we lay down all our earthly wants and seek you first, Lord, your kingdom and righteousness, and if you so desire, Lord, we ask that you supply all our needs according as you have promised in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. Amen.

Have a joyful day. Keep safe. 🙏🙏
